The Digital Strategy of Slovenia (DSI 2030) reflects the alignment of Slovenia’s digital transformation agenda with EU policies and documents. The link is reflected in several specific objectives related to human capital, connectivity, integration of digital technologies and digital public services, which are the areas of the DESI index, or the measurement of the digital performance of EU Member States.The DSI 2030 strategy covers these areas through priority objectives, such as the development of digital competences, the creation of gigabit infrastructure, the digital transformation of the economy and the improvement of digital public services.

The Digital Strategy of Slovenia (DSI 2030) defines the Local DESI, which is a composite index of the digital economy and society at the municipality level made up of different indicators that reflect the state of the four dimensions in each municipality based on available data: human capital, connectivity, integration of digital technologies and digital public services. The indicator reflects the calculated average of all 212 municipalities for 2022 and the growth target for 2025 and 2030.
